The fuel policy that quotes "Never knowingly undersold" or similar as is practiced by the likes of ESSO (Price Watch) and Tesco do nothing to drive down the prices. They wait for others to take the lead in bringing down prices and then may follow suit (if they are made aware of the price difference). It would be great if companies would take an active lead in driving down the prices. We shoppers know that "every little helps", especially as part of the reduction also means that we/they are paying less VAT on fuel too.0

I agree with that, if I leave home and turn left Tesco (Gt Yarmouth) charge 94.9 for diesel but if I turn right Tesco (Lowestoft) charge 97.9! :rolleyes:0 -

My parents are always moaning about the price of petrol here in Lowestoft. I think they tend to use Morrisons (ex Safeway) for their petrol.Dennis99 wrote:I agree with that, if I leave home and turn left Tesco (Gt Yarmouth) charge 94.9 for diesel but if I turn right Tesco (Lowestoft) charge 97.9! :rolleyes:2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040
