Finding Form 16 Partnership Bankruptcy

Hi,

Does anyone know where online I can find and print Form 16? its a partnership order (1994) to file ourselves bankrupt.

Its easier for us to fill this form in rather than do 2 seperate petitions.

I've called my local courts and they don't acknowledge that the form exists but it does its just they like people using it.

Please help me, thank you

Is it for a business bankruptcy? As you can only do a partnership bankruptcy for business partners to wind up a business, not personal bankruptcies where you have a business.

But are you both partners in the business?
If not you will have to do 2 separate petitions.

I can find some reference to them here: http://www.opsi.gov.uk/si/si1994/Uksi_19942421_en_15.htm#sdiv9

But no copies that are really usable.

Have you tried contacting the Insolvency Service or Business debtline?

  • I will probably call the insolvency service tomorrow and see what they suggest, when i spoke to business debtline they told me to call my local court and ask them to post out form 16 but the court told me they knew nothing of its existence so they werent very helpful.

thanks for your help and i'll look through the insolvency website tomorrow for help in filing our petitions
