unsecured 15k loan
applied for a 15k loan with my bank who said come back in three months. i need the loan sooner to complete a house purchase. my credit file shows two defaults that are over 2 years old. i have ford credit finance and not missed a payment and 2 credit cards and no late payments. dont really want to apply left right and centre so who would be my best lender given my circumstances??

best to go to a loan broker rather than messing up your credit rating even more with speculative applications.
Your bank is going to be the best option because they know your recent history.
Otherwise is there a family member who could help out?

If find that loan brokers generally deal in secured loans, they may have soem unsecured stuff but likely v high rates

only a few weeks away from completion now and still no loan (shortfall on deposit). would it be possible to get a secured loan at the same time and how would the 1st mortgage lender view this?0
