Is it he holiday season, or are we, heaven forbid, allowing this, one of the most important self-help threads on the board, 'daily spend' thread to die?
It's not about 'not spending' or even being frugal - it often helps to put your 'spends' down in black and white, so you can see where you have saved, or can save, money.
It's a thread which has been kept going by a band of dedicated DFWs since its conception, by the now legendary 'moozie' over two years ago, so please don't consign it to that great 'MSE in the Sky'.
The rules are simple - there are none. It's open to everyone - all you need to do is to say what you have or will spend today, whether budgeted or not. A simple way to keep a track of your spends and a control on your spending 'urges'.
There are no prizes, no numbers and no criticisms - just lots of encouragement.
So come on, everybody, post those spends - large or small - it doesn't matter, but just try to:

Hi there, Nooooooo can't get rid of this thread!!!!
Ok spent £25 on spray tan, much needed therapy:D
DH ( DH for now anyway ) spent £4 on aftersun £27 on train tickets to airport ( used family rail card ) & a couple of quid on some baby soap for DD, as she gets excema (sp?) if she uses normal stuff
So a bit of a spree, but after the hols will get that budget back on track.... promiseComping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner :beer:
