TV stand for 26" LCD Samsung

Options
I am after a TV stand for a lcd tv 26". I prefer it to be no wider than 71cm to fit a alcove, grey or glass not to bothered with one or two internal glas shelves around £40 to £60 max. Any ideas its the price and size thats the main criteria, its to fit our new Samsung HDTV we are about to get. Also will put a HUmax 8000t PVR (freeview) and Liteon DVDwriter and although a pc to connect at back due to thin profile of lcd I want to be able to play multimedia stuff at a later stage.

Any ideas I apprepiate it.

    Thanks for reply atplug.

Havent bought the tv yet I was just going too and asked wife before she went to work to leave me debit card, typically she went out and didnt leave it.

I was umming and rrring today what to do as I heard theres a 27" model out which would fit. Rang Samsung and they told me its a grey import and no digital tuner and now turns out its very tight fit for my room so I am going for the 26" model. It wil be our main tv and replaces a 10 year old tv.

I have the model LE26R41BDX in mind and I can get it for £610 inc of delivery from Hughes direct but only by phone as I got them to price match from a competitor just £1 more and competitor doesnt have them in stock yet, soon will. Hughes getting them in today or so the site claims and I have an outstanding order with them so may go with them. I dont know how good they are though

thats a good price at that site....its £639 at play.com but u get cashback if u use a cashback site.
I do not get price of £610 from the hughes website u quoted.

it was £610 at 247electrical, but heard poor reports on them.

Electricaldiscount.co.uk offer the 26" with no freeview for £549 but no stock for 2 weeks when i phoned yesterday to order..:(

let me know where u order from, PM me if u can.

Like I said I emailed them and told them I can get it from that company and they replied this morning, saying they will do it for £610. Been on phone today and they got them in stock getting them to price match a 6in1 remote now the Kameleon for £30 same price as Dixons. They are getting back to me, seems a good company the way they are very helpful.

Planning to turn the Samsung into a HTPC with computer for video, dvd's etc. Need a surround sound but that will have to wait for a while.

Just ordered now, ist coming Monday along with PVR I ordered at weekend (out of stock when I ordered). Great helpful guy on phone. They couldnmt match the remote so have to go into town for that, not to worry you win some loose some.

I think you better off with a IDTV LCD as terrestrial tv isnt brilliant on LCD's or Plasma due to low resolution of teh feed. Still Sky (which I dont have), and Freeview are good but DVD and HDTV is better particularly on a pc from what I seen on my mates 32" LCD.
