hi i want a paper shredder! i have so much paper work to get rid of and i hate the whole idea of identity fraud :mad: i have seen the one at tesco extra for £15. do any of you have this one? is it good? can you advise me on any others, thank you rik

I have a similar one (Fellowes branded) - does what it says on tin, although slightly happier with 4 sheets at a time, especially if you don't feed it quite straight... Wouldn't think there would be that much difference between brands - a reasonable guide should be the power consumption (mine draws 1.3 amps, any less likely to be a 'weaker' motor). Surprised it's cheaper than the straight-cut one - these normally take more sheets, but are not as secure (and are normally cheaper).

i just purcased one from argos this satuday. at the moment most are discounted by £5.

I bought this one and it works a treat. 5 sheets at a time and will do credit cards.
