Hi - CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME A BIT OF ADVICE
I agreed £50.00 a month on top of mortgage payment in May after 2 months arrears which I have stuck to, then at end of May had to go onto a payment plan arranged by Citizens advice which all my creditors have agreed to.
Now the Abbey have sent me a letter asking to phone them to arrange further payments. When they find out i'm on a payment plan will they want all this money that is sent to my creditors each month?
I have been in a right mess over all of this and its only in the last couple of weeks that my creditors (1st credit are the worst ever- who threatened to make my hubby bankrupt and get the house took from us) have agreed, and I have been able to relax, now this from Abbey....
PLEASE HELP........

If you add the mortgage to the DMP they will get less as the amount of serples income needs to be divided equally % wise to out standing debt with each creditor. It will IMHO be in ABBYS best interest to carry on the currant arrangement to keep their payments at the same level as if tehy are put into the DMP they will be reduced, I would think. I would suggest that you write them a letter to that effect.
Also who is your DMP with? Have you spoken to them?Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!0
