free kids films at showcase cinemas

Showcase cinemas have a free kids movie on wed mornings during the summer.
All you have to do is get your kids to read a book/ story and write a review on the page downloaded from here, http://www.showcasecinemas.co.uk/bookworm/2008.php

they are not the latest blockbusters but its free and if youre lucky like my son, they draw 5 reviews out of the box and you can win a bag of goodies including 2 cinema tickets to go and see the latest films!!

Best of all (if like me you are fed up with overpriced sweets etc) the counters are all closed so you cant buy anything!

well that was at the manchester one anyway.

accompaning adult and children under 6 are also free so if nanny or grandad is babysitting for you over the hols, they can go too!:T

Has anyone tried taking young kids to this. My 3 and 4 year olds love going to the cinema, but couldn't exactly write a book review.

Do you think they'd let us in for free?

i saw a couple of small kids there today with their dads, tbh they didnt read the reviews, you post them in a box on your way in and then some little kid got picked out and he just randomly picked 5 reviews out of the box and read the names off the bottom, they then won prizes. maybe you could write the review and put their names on it?? (after you've read them a book and they told you the best bit and you wrote it down;) ) that'd be my argument,if they turned me away.
