mini fridges / coolers?

Options
hello money savers,

just wondered if anyone has seen any cheap largeish mini fridge style coolers? also... although these can chill to 3 degrees celcius - are they good enough for keeping things like milk and yogurt in?

cheers

am sure there will be plenty around they are fine for milk etc as long as they cool to less than 5 degrees c :D

They work fine, but remember that all of these 'mini fridges' which rely on peltier heat pumps are not designed for continuous use, the usual recommendation is for one hours rest every 48 hours.

All the ones I've seen have stated something similar on them, but it's always a bit vague...

Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this thread has been moved to the i wanna board, where it should get more replies.
