Just a quick Q here, need a quick answer pls, if anyone knows ....If a loan is cleared how long does it take for the clearance to appear on your credit record as cleared?

How long does it take Experian etc to process an update before a credit check would show a past loan as cleared, from day of payment into bank?

TIA

  • Usually a month or so would show that an account is cleared. It all depends on how quickly the information is passed to Experian or Equifax.
