Hi, I would recommend any of Sue Townsend's books. Her current one - weapons of mass destruction - is in Asda for £3.97 at the moment. Short chapters - light read - funny. It is the latest in the Adrian Mole saga. Also have to say Da Vinci code does take a lot of beating - you really cannot put that one down lol!
Good luck with finding something :rotfl:0 -
Try cecila Ahern or martina cole0

I like the Karin Slaughter books.. they usually grab you from the start. You haven't reallly given us anything to go on though.. what types of boks do you like ?
e.g historical, hysterical, offbeat, bodice rippers... even a teensy clue helps..
Good luck !HLK

Try Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. A real epic. Had the book at home for ages before I tried it as was put off by the cover and subject matter but once I got into it I just couldn't put it down and OH thought it was a great read too. It's an oldish book but you should be able to get it from a library.0
