No - what small DFW things will you do today thread??

Is there no "thread" today for the small DFW things we'll do today?
I will post mine here, and if one appears later will join in there. I need to get it "written" down so I remember what I need to do...

Today I have/will:
  • Made DH and myself lunch to take to work.
  • Checked my online banking
  • Update my spreadsheets
  • Having a no-spend day
  • Stores breakfast/lunch/supper
  • 30 deg washes and dry outside
  • Found a recipe on here for breadrolls - will make them
  • Bake

Hope everyone has a good day today x

    so far....
    - had a manky sandwich for lunch from the house - think the meat was off so in the end just had bread and butter LOL
    - was going to get a little shopping after my shift but realised i had forgotton discount and points cards so didnt get anything
    - having a storecupboard tea. (sausages and egg)
    - tried calling N power about a fixed rate but they have sold out :( Threatened to leave so they are going to call me back.

Thats it so far but tonight intend on doing more so will update in a bit

    ok...so update....

    - booked extra 25 hours overtime for next week
    - transferred car savings money over to main account so I can pay car tax tomorrow
    - remained having a no spend day (so proud)
    - updated money program
    - no call back from N power, tried calling them again but was a 15 min wait and as only have mobile, wasnt worth it. Really dont know what to do about capping the energy costs
    - told dd i couldnt afford her birthday pressie - heartbreaking but just cant do it
    - decided not to go for the alliance and Leicster saving account as its so much hassel to get my id validated and verified. Our doctor charges more than the cashback.

    Today I have:

    Checked online banking

Lowered the tariff on mobile phone, contracts end in january, then its going.

Been to the shop and bought yellow stickered items, much to the embarrassment of myself, my daughters friends mother was unknowingly stood behind me when I said to my daughter, I'm not paying that for the yoghurt, you'll have to choose something else, the look I got from my daughters friends mother:embarasse .

Made steak in Red Wine in the SC for dinner, gonna shove a puff pastry on it, and OH will eat it.

Made OH lunch which he left on the drive in a carrier bag:rolleyes: , he can have that tomorrow:D , it was only sat there for 3 hours until I discovered it.

Put washing up liquid in DW as I have ran out of tablets, and wouldn't pay the local shop price.

I think thats it for now.

A bit late for me, but Hi :hello:
Andan is on holiday, I hope Sophiesmum is OK.
    Well today I have:
    • tried to cap rate, but British Gas wouldn't, I now know why
    • looked for mystery shops and picked up THREE :D
    • Skyped OH
    • took a packed lunch to work.
The rest of the day won't be very good for either my waist or my wallet. I'm going out with the girls :D:D:D One of them is due to give birth anyday now, I'm giving her some of the Johnsons stuff for which I got more Tesco Clubcard points than their price :D :money: :rotfl:

and I didn't walk to work either. Though I may do so tomorrow.

Today I realised that my new electric supplier dd was due to go out four days before I had money so I phoned and changed the date, and checked that I'm on a capped tariff (which I sort of am, it's capped at 3% below the normal rate for a year). Sent OH looking for yellow stickers at morrisons, and had a store cupboard yellow stickered meal.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
