Do I have to tell the OR if ....

... I sell my car with the intention of buying another?
When I had my interview with the OR, they said that they'd send me a letter to confirm that I could keep it, but the letter never arrived, nor, does it seem, did any letters go out to any of my creditors (as I think I've just told the last one about my BR, 4 months in!).
The MOT on the car had expired, and there was no way it was worth getting it fixed to get it road worthy again. I only got £300 for it, which was all that it was really worth when I filled in the OR questionnaire.

Hi Tiger,
What the OR says and what the OR does are two separate things. At the moment I don't think they can cope with the workload. If it makes finacial sense to (swap) the car then do it.As long as yo don't end up with a lambo or a ferrari i think you will be OK.
