Hi
Does anyone have any recommendations on eating places in Plymouth and Portreath?
We are a family of 2 ads and 2 ch (age 10 & 11) and will be in Plymouth for 2 nights (staying at the Holiday Inn)
We are also staying in Portreath for a week in August. Does anyone know of any good take-aways (as we are self catering) or good restaurants in the town or nearby?
Thanks in advance!!!:j :j

Ref Plymouth - my city is a bit dire for food!

I'd recommend the Holiday Inn itself for one meal - food is bland but they cater well for children and the views of the Hoe and the Sound are wonderful (check first that there are no coach parties dining!).

Otherwise the Wet Wok at West Hoe (ask at Reception) offer excellent chinese food or the Barbican area nearby has a range of different restaurants. If you are on a budget there is a Cafe Rouge at one end of Royal Parade - see the MSE vouchers section for two-for-one deals.
