OR Interview this morning

Hi all,
Had my OR interview this morning, 13 days after BR court.
Went well (i think) OR very pleasant and nice, lasted 50 mins.
Only thing OR asked for is records of a LTD company that i closed down earlier on in they year and paper work is in order so there shouldnt be a problem.
Strange but i should be happy now that i can start a fresh and it should be easy sailing from now, but to be honest i feel a bit deflated! 38 and having to start again! Iam sure ill bounce back now i have another chance.
Thanks to all thats helped with my couple of posts and to anyone considering BR as a last alternative, dont worry the process is painless.

Plenty years left in you yet Nomis213 i have just gone BR and im 35 but like you have said we are debt free now and can start again. if you were like me you would have had to have lived until i was 159 to pay off the debt.

  • Well, I'm 61 and it's given me a marvellous new lease of life as for the first time for years and years I don't have to spend all day and night worrying about MONEY! In fact, two small ad hoc jobs that I don't really have to do, but like getting out a bit, and the pressure is OFF.

I am now working quietly on a 2nd career, no income for years, from it, but what I really really want to do.

It'll be fine, you young guys and as k2 says can get a new start. All the best, and congratulations on the OR interview nomis.

    Hi Nomis,

BR is not the B all and end all.It does as it says on the tin ie gets rid of the debt, however it does have side effects depression, lack of self esteem marital & relationship issues just to quote a few.Everybody is affectected differently but don't despair it's still got to be better than being in the !!!!!! with nowhere to go and some or all of the above giving added pressure.
The secret is not to give up,plan to survive and weather the storms cos for sure you will have some bad days and this board is where you should come either to vent your spleen or get help or just someone to talk to who is not going to judge you.You will come out of this wiser, stronger and more fulfilled, the negative if you can call it negative is NO CREDIT.

    Take care DEz
