The Body Shop At Home (Hints and tips)

One of my guests now doesn't want their £16 worth of products. She is a friend of mine so I paid for her. ARGH! If I get a refund, my commission and everything will be messed up, but my host has already got her products and I can't make her give any of them back?!
What do I do? Do I foot the bill or do you think I should keep the products (french navy eyeliner and one of the emerald mineral eye shadow) or try sell it on at one of my parties?
I will never do that again, for anyone!!!0 -
I dont think you can send them back. Try keeping them for use or maybe future orders. Just swap the item for something you want/need. As you purchased them you should also be able to ebay them.:j0

I would probably keep it and try to sell it...maybe even 10% off if you have too. The hassle of sending it back would probably not be worth it!
I don't like ordering stuff up front, but if it's a common product such as body butters I'll just keep them and next time someone orders it I won't put it on the order and just get it out my box
I too would like to recruit but am not confident about doing it. I think I will just pass a list of people to my AM and see how it goes!Married 5th June 20101st Baby born 12th April 2011:j0 -
Ya, I think you are right. It isn't worth the hastle:( I'll sell them at my March party because that is a make me fabulous one:)
If your AM contacts people, do they take them under their wing or do they then become consultants under you??0 -
to be honest its not your job to recruit at this stage, managers say the less you say about the job the better, if anyone seems interested your meant to just say you will get your manager to call them. apparently if you go into detail they have time to make excuses to themselves or their family/friends will talk them out of it. i have flyered the local area advertising relief from the credit crunch to no avail. but good luck with the list and keep the leads going to your manager!0

they become your recruits so you get the percentage of their sales ie after 2 recruits you get 2% of their sales, but your manager looks after them for you.0

Hi folks, my OH is doing her first Fundraiser next week and is just after info on what to do, sales, commision etc. I know there is a thread on here somewhere but I've not got the time to go through all 100 pages. Can anyone give her any advice.

I think it's just the new host reward programme this month (70% off with required party sales).0

oooh! I take that back! She is buying them now. Just have to wait until later in the month:) It wasn't worth losing a friendship over but it is fab that I won't loose out on £16! I'm just starting out so that is a lot of cash:)
Also, might have my first two recruits. YAY me!0
