nope no halloween party for me! Ive got a party tonight. My host is having it as a halloween party though and has asked her guests to come in fancy dress. She doesnt want a demonstration, she thinks it will go down better if i pass products around and let everyone try things out for themselves. I dont mind doing that, my sales never suffer (Ive had a few parties done that way) its the fact they are all goin in fancy dress!

Hi all, I'm off to collect the catalogues I dropped on Wednesday in a minute, just waiting for the last batch of Halloween Bat Biscuits to come out of the oven. The kids in my street have already asked about them as they loved them last year! (Yes, I know I'm a show off, but it's cheaper than buying sweets, and so much nicer!)

Ho[ping I get some orders, don't know how I', going to pluck up the courage to knock on doors and ask for them back! I'm not very forward when it comes to things like that lol!
Well here goes, wish me luck!

Well, 8 out of 20 were left outside, no orders. Will go around later and knock on doors, when I have my kids back! I like the protection of small children!
Wasn't really expecting much to be honest, just thought I'd give it a go.
Plan B - Just hope I do really well tomorrow at the gift fair -

I have bought things to sell on the day
3 Amphoras with an oil, in pretty packaging (RRP £9)
3 oil burners with an oil each (RRP £14)
some £6 gift sets and 1 £8 mens set

May offer discount from catalogue price on these, I bought most of them half price anyway.
I am offering Free delivery in my town for all orders placed on the day.
I have 2 lovely huge poster/banner things that I borrowed from my AM and lots of flyers and 20 samples to give out. I will be offering hand and arm massages for £2.
I will be trying my best to get party bookings and hopefully more recruits.

It's all day, from 10 to 4 and there will be a lot of advertising even people on the high street sending the public our way so I am hoping for a good turn out (unlike the awful dream I had last night, where no one came! My stall is in the entrace area, where the refreshments and sofas are, rather than in the busy main hall so I am hoping that I will get plenty of interested people stopping for a chat and a hand massages. I have not been shown how to do these but I have always been pretty good at massage and I do have a book somewhere with it in so I guess I will just blag it! Only thing that worries me is 6 hours without toilet breaks as I won't want to leave my stand unattended!
My new recruit is driving me there in the morning and helping me set up though so I may be able to persuade her to stay a while and help!
I am very nervous and very excited so I really hope I pull it off. I am only just going to make SS1 I think so I would love to get November looking healthy and full.

Well done all those who have got great sales this month! Hope you do even better next month, sounds like you will do. Especially well done to CathandKim who hit SS3, you go girls! Also well done to everyone who got xmas sellers in by today, you never know, they may stay on!

    Happy Halloween Ladies!!!!

Right well my first party tonight! Finally, it seems like i have been waiting for ever!

I have just over £100 pre-orders in already so that is good and the party is at my mums. Not too worried about it, my AM wanted to come along and give moral support but it is in Cardiff tonight and we are based in Swindon! Oh well at least my mum will be nice to me :)

I have also found all the tips on here soo helpful so thanks to all of you. I will let you know how i get on, may have to wait until Monday? But should put through my order tonight.

well done to all, enjoy the glorious weather and halloween :)
