Fridge freezer with water dispenser

Options
Can anybody help me find a decent fridge freezer with a built in water dispenser. I've looked all through MSE and can't find anything specific to my requirements.

I want a tall fridge freezer, with the freezer compartment to be quite small and at the bottom.

I don't particularly want the water dispenser to be attached to the mains as it would be too much of a hassle to fit.

I'm not bothered on the colour but my OH would like a silver/ stainless steel model if at all possible.

I don't want to spend more than £350.

Thanks x

I found this one here, there are a few others on the site but this looks good value for money.

Might be worth looking at comments about this via google. Let's you know how others have got on with it.

    Good Luck x

As far as I am aware all water dispensing fridge freezers have to be plumbed in?

I can recommend the Beko frost free fridge freezer, bought ours the beginning of this year, the water dispenser does not need plumming in just fill the reservior and hey presto chilled water, excellent value for money.

  • Thanks for the replies, got myself a brand new fridge freezer in Comet - ex display model (not a scratch on it - I made them pull out to have a proper look).

£332 down from £450 Bargain. No water dispenser though, sales assistant advised against it, unhygenic, expensive and take up too much valuable space (plus all of these models in store looked manky and were out of my price range).

Can't wait to start filling it :T

  • I didn't realise that they were unhygenic, I always fancied one, but seeing that link to the Beko one - I have that exact fridge freezer without the water dispenser and it only cost £215 4 yrs ago, so that means the water dispenser is £100!!!! No way would I know pay that for a water dispenser!!!

  • Hi Kevinz,

Acid water can be dangerous to your health because the speed of biochemical reactions in your body is determined by the pH of the things you introduce into your body. Acid makes the body breakdown substances in your body much faster. This is because electricity moves faster in an environment that is acidic therefore making it unstable.
