Please take proper advice froon eof the debt charities. There have been a number of reports here of creditors increasing the rate when a debtor contacts them becuase of the increased risk they are now aware of. I would definately pay the mininum off the CC and concentrate on the OD unless the percentage, risk and charges make paying the CC a better bet. Please talk it throught first.

You may be best off paying possum for a while.

    Thanks RAS
Paying possum???? sorry haven't heard that before

NDL haven't been very helpful with this point, I think once I let them know I didn't want the DMP they were happy to leave me to it.

Are you saying that by writing to FD I am putting myself at a disadvantage? My OD comes up for review in Feb anyway and I figure when they see I am no longer having salaries etc paid in and only paying £70 a month they will want to withdraw it and ask for the whole lot back.

Do you think it would be better to set up the SO and pay the min to CC and not contact them at all??

Or is this the question I should explicitly ask NDL?

    Thanks
