For a very big, free email storage system, go to https://www.mailnation.net.
You can always get more with a kind word and a 2-by-4 than with just a kind word.

that's huuuuuuge!!!
has anyone ever used this???0 -
It's also not useful... ;-)
I dare say they only offer that much because they know that no-one's going to fill up their mailbox. If I recall correctly they have a max. attachment size of 10MB. It'd take a lot of messages to make a dent in 1TB of storage! I considered getting one and setting up an automatic job to email a 10M file from a number of machines every 5 minutes, but it just isn't worth the effort...
My comments on the 30gigs service apply here - your problem will be mailbox management. Imagine paging through your inbox with thousands of messages. Heh, my work webmail mailbox has about 3500 messages and I haven't the patience to click on the "next page" button more than once.... ;-)0 -
This seems like an excellent idea. Even better than the 30gigs one! Reading over their T's and C's it does seem excellent value for er....no money!
I would like to point out that some people will use a lot more than Gmail can offer, for example if they are in constant communication with colleagues around the world, sending sensitive documents etc. I myself have used 5.5gigs of my 30gigs account already so this may be what I am looking for!I am a Mortgage Adviser. Is there no way to use this as a "virtual" drive?
I know that you can do it with Gmail (or Google Mail in UK)
Edit: I've just read that these accounts expire after 60 days.0 -
