Disablity allowances and banckruty

As both me and husbands only incomings is the disablity allowances for two children and child tax credit and our carers allowances and it is paid into his bank account - I do not have one anymore since I tell him I been gambling on internet. We cut up cards and went to cccs

When i go bancrupt will they take the money we get for the children.

He is nto bancrupt as debts was in my name. The house is rented. His car is a moto bility one.

    Hi AMOF
    As your family relies wholly on benefits for income you would not be expected to contribute towards your bankruptcy by way of an IPA (income payment arrangement) so your benefits are safe!

    You mention that you only get carers allowance, tax credits & DLA for children. Are you entitled to income support - check out whether you are claiming everything you are entitled to with your local Citizens Advice Bureau.
