Deodorants

Thought other money savers might be interested in the bit of price comparison I did yesterday. Needing deodorant, I decided to do a price comparison around our town centre. The comparison was between Asda, Boots, Superdrug & Wilkinsons.

Cheapest for straight aerosol anti persp / deodorant was Superdrug with their own brand at 89p per can, and a BOGOF offer. They also had roll-ons for 69p each - again with the BOGOF, you can mix & match between the pray and the roll-on too, as I did.

Asda came up trumps with the cheapest deodorant wipes I've seen anywhere. 38p for a pack of 14 - I used one at lunchtime today and I can vouch for the fact that they smell pretty reasonable and do leave you feeling fresh. It appeared to be a rollback price but there was no indication that it was going to be a limited offer.

Finally for users of PitRok - Asda again seem to be by far the cheapest at £4.48 - again a roll-back price. This is more than £2 cheaper than Boots, and even an online search didn't turn them up for anything like that cheap from anywhere else.

Hope this helps someone. :D

Ahhhh - Right Guard - another Asda bargain at £1 a can. Can't remember whether this was a roll back or other special offer I'm afraid.

I'm extremely impressed with the Asda 69p roll-on by the way - I'm hugely picky about deodorants and totally paranoid that I might be less than fresh - this one has stood up to a full day on the go in our hot and sticky office. It's certainly a total bargain at that price, and with the BOGOF offer too.....
