For residents of London Borough Tower Hamlets: £1 entry to Tower of London
Options
Spotted in this week's edition of the East End Life: Tower Hamlets council and the Tower of London have teamed up again to give borough residents entry to the Tower of London for just £1.
(Usual Adult entry fee is £14.90 and children £9.50)
This offer is only available to residents of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets from November 1st 2005 - February 28 2006
Residents need to produce Idea Store card, library card, leisure centre membership card or leisure pass card together with proof of address at the ticket booth at the Tower when you visit.
They are also celebrating the 400th anniversary of the 1605 gunpowder plot with a new Gunpowder Treason exhibition and there will be a special costumed event on Nov 5 and 6 - "Guy Fawkes succeeds!"
A fantastic offer. For more info visit the borough's website https://www.towerhamlets.gov.uk or the https://www.hrp.org.uk (although I can't see any info on either of these sites yet on this special offer)
Or you can phone the Tower of London on 0207 488 5693
