Where can I find, some good old fashioned pegs.....you know the sort they used to make peg dolls from? They had some in Tesco, but they look as flimsy as anything, and the ones with a spring don't seem to last five minutes! I'm sick of replacing them now
Thank you
Thank you

Proud to be dealing with my debts :T

Try ebay maybe, have seen them in £ shops occasionally. One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
I've always liked these but have given up. I had some brilliant ones from an old fashioned ironmongers years ago and subsequently useless ones from various kitchen shops since. I've given up because nobody else in the family likes them.0

Magentasue......nobody else uses them in my family, so not a problem for me LMAO. I'm just sick of buying loads of pegs. The plastic ones break in no time and the wooden spring ones are so flimsy. There are six of us though, so they get a fair bit of hammer.
If anyone can recommend some good hardwearing pegs that will last for ages (don't have to be dolly style) then I will be most happy! It's a bit of a false economy in our house, buying cheap pegsProud to be dealing with my debts :T

I bought plastic storm pegs from an old fashioned iron monger. which are the same idea, the ironmonger had the proper old wooden dolly pegs in two sizes - brings back memories - mind you with the price of electric we will need good pegs again as the tumble drier will be a thing of the past!!!Every days a School day!0

I bought some from EBay, a twin 24 pack, about 4 or 5 years ago and they are still going strong. They're brilliant I'd advise anyone to buy them!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.
