Specsavers offers and the HC2 form

I'm not sure if this should go here so feel free to move it if it doesn't belong.
My eye sight has gotten really bad recently and I need new glasses. My opticions is Specsavers and they currently have a BOGOF scheme happening now, which would be brilliant since I figure as a new mum I'll prob need 2 pairs!
My question is this, I currently hold a HC2 form which explicitly says I'm entitled to free eye tests and 'the full value of a voucher towards the cost of glasses and contact lenses'. On the Specsavers website it says that the Optical voucher is £39 off a pair of glasses, and if you want more expensive ones you can just pay the extra. Now if I wanted to take up the BOGOF scheme on say, two pairs of £75 glasses, could I use the special offer minus the £39 optical voucher? Ie. pay £36 for 2 pairs of £75 glasses.
I know I can't combine the student discount with the BOGOF but I'm curious about my HC2 and the BOGOF.

When I went in to get my glasses repaired, youngest dd had snapped them clean in two, they couldn't repair and didn't make the same type so couldn't just reuse lenses, but were really helpful and kept trying to add diff discounts to lower the price, I think I ended up with new frames for about £20.00, and not the terrible NHS type we all were fobbed off with as children! Ask them what they can do, I thought that they were all semi-independent so may make a diff which branch you try, otherwise try an independent optician and see what they can do for you. Good luck.GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000
