This film was great in 3D at the Imax, it worked really well. We saw it at the IMAX at Waterloo last Christmas, it was great. I think I'm correct in saying that the one at Waterloo is the biggest in this country. 26x22 metres if I remember rightly and was far more impressive than the one I went to at Bristol .0 -
ordered mine today. great find. it will make a nice xmas present.0

Choices are very good at taking orders and then cancelling them. They cancelled my Buffy box last year because they had over subscribed on the ltd edition0

Not quite as 'exclusive' as we all thought.
The Region 1 release includes the 2 disc dvd, the snowglobe and a wooden train.
A much better set if you have a multi-region dvd player.
About £18 at https://www.amazon.com, the only downfall is that it may be subject to import charges.0 -
How much is delivery to the uk? from amazon?
amazon.co.uk havent got it on pre-order

Found the answer now. The charges will be $4.49 for delivery within 9-36 business days. And duty will be payable as its above the $27.99 rate where import duty becomes applicable.
EDITED to say I think the total including import duty and priorty shipping would be $72.48  as amazon will pay the import duty for you this way.0 -
it's $4.49 per shipment plus $2.49 per item so shipping for one item is actually $6.98

oh and the shipping charge is added to the item purchase price to give the total value when they calculate customs charges :rolleyes:0

Current https://www.amazon.com price is $32.16 which is just over £18.00.
Didn't think that customs charges included the shipping amount, thought they were just based on value of the goods.
Now if only we can get it below the £18 customs limit and then no possible charges to worry about!
There are a few UK dvd retailers already advertising this Region 1 set for around £300 -

Sorry, yes you're right, it's just the VAT that is calculated on the cost including shipping - "The value for VAT is the declared value of the goods plus the transport costs to the country of destination plus the customs duty."0
