Hi guys,
Just an update regarding my bankruptcy that I petitioned for around a month ago, and it's going pretty well. The fact you can't get any credit as a condition of your bankruptcy sucks, but a huge amount of stress has been lifted, so no complaints.
Since they took my car, I want to go to Manchester, and was wondering whether an undischarged bankrupt is allowed to rent a car? Reason I'm asking if because I'd swear I read somewhere that you're NOT allowed to, but just want someone to clarify whether I can or can't.
Thanks

I think it'll depend on the hire company rather than bankruptcy rules... there have been a few threads about hiring cars and the main problem is not having a credit card (which they use for booking it, deposit etc) ... though Phil has said in another thread that the cashplus prepay card does allow you to.:hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0

Sammy get down to the auctions very soon they will be giving them away even if you only use it for a week and then stick it back in the auction its got to be cheaper than renting.
