I dont know if its the type of drum kit you want as I wasnt looking properly
(ds makes enough noise but I think "kind" grandma may be buying him one this xmas!! ) but Asda had 2 drum kits - one was suitable for a 3yr old priced around £5 and then they had an older which was around £15 i think.
Sorry I cant help more but I wasn't paying that much attention..so if i am losing my mindthen feel free to completely ignore me!
Brendan's new dance partner...please0 -
How old is she? Would this one be suitable? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Fun-Years-My-First-Drum-Set-Kit-3-years-BNIB-Christmas_W0QQitemZ6007504934QQcategoryZ80546QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Better still, get off Ebay.....if Ebay aren't cheap, they are expensive (if you see what I mean!) Is this one better? http://www.comparestoreprices.co.uk/drum-kits/unbranded-4-piece-metal-drum-set.asp
I got the second by googling 'cheap drum kit' - you could also try Kelkoo.co.ukEx board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
Got the bit between my teeth now! This one looks even better value - only a fiver more, and 2 more drums I think! http://www.johnlewis.com/Shopping/Product.aspx?Type=SKU&ID=230174814&source=12021Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0

the first one no, will get broken in seconds. second one in argos looks ok but is it? i could go and have a look. the one from john lewis is far to plasticy if you know what i mean.
i have 3 strong girls ages 5, 4 and 15 months so need something that a looks the part . b will with stand pressure and c cheap. i know i want a lot. she plays on her friends and i think she has some form of rythem and want to encourage this, just like i do with the eldest and her RAD ballet classes. sorry for going on. thanks for looking for me and keep up the good work i do appreciate it.Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0 -
Two more suggestions, then I really must go.
1. Can you afford a bit more? If so, there's a more expensive one at Argos, or there's one here http://www.gear4music.com/index.php?sec=proddetails&pcode=3PCEKIT
(But I appreciate it is much more expensive. This was the cheapest one I could find today at a music store.)
2. Back to Ebay. These look reasonable quality, and I've been a deeply sad person (you can tell I'm avoiding writing a paper, can't you!) and researched the prices previous sales have gone at. The answer is £40 (:)) £80  £69.10  £51 and £41. So if you understand sniping and have patience, you should be able to get one for the £40 mark.......http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/3-Junior-Drum-Set-Kit-wine-red-6-pieces_W0QQitemZ7360802536QQcategoryZ38097QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
I'm not normally this deeply sad, just interested in musical instruments (and, as I said before, avoiding finishing a paper!)Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0
