Hi I bought a huge bag of popcorn whilst on holiday in Norfolk for my grandchildren, but it's not got a lot of taste to it. It was supposed to be toffee flavoured but you have to search for the flavour IYKWIM any ideas as to what I can do with it apart from putting it out to feed the birds ,which seems a bit of a waste.
Even my granchildren said it definitely wasn't like the normal 'butterkist' type I normally treat them to.

Hi, Jackie  Could you add some more toffee
I warm up golden syrup in a big pan and add the popcorn to that.
Alternatively, there's this thread - can you cook with popcorn?

I've used it as crispy cakes instead of the crispies before and it works fine, but you might have to crush it a bit so it's a bit smaller. You could maybe set it in peanut brittle type sweets or use it in rocky road instead of all or some of the cookies

I also had a cheesecake a while back that was toffee flavoured with popcorn in toffee sauce on the top - which appealed to my riduculously sweet tooth wayyy to much:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0
