    I shall do.

Are you going to get a proper job or keep living off others' hard earned in the meantime?

I thought providing excellant quality homes is a very worthwhile job, where else would the poor unfortunate souls be able to hang their hats at the end of a very stressfull day.

In their own homes, not yours? Is that really so difficult for you to grasp? Why, did you build it for them, with your own fair hands? No, thought not. Let's see - you borrowed some money off the bank, and possibly painted the lounge magnolia.

    Well done. :T

    Aren't you the man.

Good thing we've got people like you - otherwise some hard-working families might actually be able to afford their own homes. Can't have that, can we.

Just because figures might show 15% drop does not mean all vendors will take that into account or even care what they are.

Ok, installed spell checker, hopefully won't miss too many mis-spells. I don't expect Nationwide figures to show 15%. I checked the area and sold prices. House across the lawned area with the views to the fields and freehold sold last May for just under £10k less than the one I am interested and it is the same design. The views are not as good - lawn in front and parking behind and it is listed as leasehold on nethouseprices. It has been on the market for a few months now according to property bee. We want a house and we are willing to buy in the current market. Have nothing to sell, so we are in a good position and have a decent enough deposit. So, I would like to see a decent reduction in asking price as I think it is too high. If they dropped the price as some other houses within 1 mile radius, they would probably get the sale (those houses sold within a week). We are just going to try and see if we can get that house before they drop the asking price and more interested parties appear on the doorstep as we already lost 2!!!!

    'excellant' is spelt 'excellent'.
    'stressfull' is spelt 'stressful'.

I always refrain from correcting spelling and punctuation, mainly because I thinks it's rude and a little self-aggrandising but also because we all make mistakes sometimes and so if you correct someone's mistakes on one post, expect to be corrected yourself on the next. ;)

I don't believe you should correct him / her. It gives advance notice that the content is most likely to be drivel.

Only piece of advice I would give is never to buy leasehold, made that mistake a few years ago.
The problem that you can have is the owners of the leasehold can come up with several different charges at any time, in fact even after a couple of years have past.
Surely in this current market you must be able to find you a little palace, good luck in your searching.

I would guard against any advice from this poster. For all we know this person is living alone in a bedsit, bolstering their ego by belittling others while claiming to be successful. Check his / her history if you don't believe me.

    Caveat Nuttor, as they say...

leaseholds only really make sense in flats, where 'group' maintenance is likely to be required.
    It's a health benefit ...

If you take a bit of personal time, and really try to comprehend you may see that my post was not about leaseholds in any way. Print it out and get someone, if you know anyone, to explain it to you. Maybe you could ask in the flat next door?
