No they aren't too thick but are darker. Unfortunately they aren't like how you describe, they are sore small spots which can bleed for ages after removing hair.....
Crikey...I sound like a right horrible speciman don't I??? Honest I ain't all that gross....:D
Just annoys me that I seem to have to put twice the effort into looking reasonable compared to some others!!!
Hey ho, nevermind:rotfl::silenced:0 -
I also agree, the xfoliating gloves are fab!!!, makes ur body wash/shower gel go miles further too.
I used to be conned by Boots who charge £2.50 for these, but i have been buying them from Morrisons for 89p. I have 3 pairs, one for wet in the shower/bath, one for dry on back of thighs and as a good massage, and the third for facial use (they are not recommended for facial use, but if u use them really gently, especialy after working in the garden, or after a night out, they are great!)
You can also bung them in the wash machine, on a low temp wash to keep them clean, so they last ages. They sometimes tend to hold water, but if u hang them up after rinsing, after use, they dry out really quickly.
HTH someone.Proud to be me, proud to be who I am!!0 -

Exfolliating gloves are definitely a winner.
Also try Nads' Ingrow solution (it's a spray... but don't do it just after you've waxed!!!)
For eyebrows, if you're plucking them yourself, the redness/soreness may be a slight infection, so make sure that you disinfect your tweezers and wash your hands (it seems obvious, but easy to forget!). If you're having them done professionally, take your own tweezers and clean them ever time. Also keep the area cool afterwards - use something like cold camomile tea on a cottonwool pad to wipe over the area as you pluck and lie down for 10 mins after plucking with these over your eyebrows.0 -

Tell me about it
Bikini line AND armpits. I feel like I should have a pair of tweezers welded to me sans Edward Scissorhands, seeing as I always seem to have a pair in my hands plucking one area or other 0
