In the Guardian today a piece about sun lotion and it says aWhich test found that

Wilko sun protection system moisturising lotion at £2.69/ Sainsburys sun protacetion lotion at £3 and Asda sun system at £3 were some of the best ie most effective!

So if you're on hols you know where to go to buy sun stuff!!

Some of the Sainsburys range was half price at our local. Bought aftersun for just £1.49

I love the Calypso dry oil sprays.
They vary between £1.99 and £2.99 per bottle depending on where you buy them ( and the higher factor sprays are usually a bit more than the low factors)

These are just so quick and easy to apply compared to creams. Just spray and a quick wipe over to make sure everywhere is covered and you are done. No constant rubbing to get the cream to soak in with these.
