Heavily in Debt!!!!! Advice please UPDATE

Morning all,
Things were going quite well until I just looked at the joint bank account balance - £2500 overdrawn but all bills are paid and I get paid this week and hubby will pay his weekly dose by friday.
I have been off work this month with a fractured knee cap so no 2nd or 3rd job wages coming in - my main job luckily boosts up the ssp pay to full pay!!!!
Anyway, bills are still being paid and at the weekend I did a couple of bootsales with other members of the family and and got £215 on sat, and £275 on sun (£490 split 5 ways - nearly £100 each!) ;0
Husbands bank account which was frozen at £3,500 DR is now only £1,700 DR
We decided not to remortgage cos that to us would just be shifting the debt and not dealing with it - although no predudice to people who do remortgage, we have done it before but soon racked the debts up again!
Any mse's cheers for all the advice I have been recieving.

Well done. Glad you have taken on some of our tips.
Make sure you keep up with the boot sales and have a good sort out of stuff about once every 6 months. Another tip is don't do the boot sale with someone else, then you won't have to split the cost.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040 -
