  • Hi, everyone!

I'm a complete newbie, this is my very first post! I have been addicted to this board as a lurker for ages though, just wanted to get my head around it before I started. I think you are all so inspirational, and although I was going to wait until the September challenge, i'm going to jump in right now if that's okay!
So from tomorrow till the 31st, it's 11 days, I'll have a go at £10 a day! Doing a car boot sale on sunday and I also do Ann Summers parties when I can. After reading this thread I have also signed up to quidco, lightspeed and several mystery shopping sites:rotfl:
Thank you all so much for the inspiration, look forward to getting to know you all!

    Welcome Jodes,

When I used to do carboot's in Leeds, it opened it's doors at 6.00am, if you want a good pitch the queing starts from 3.00am, and they charge 3 different amounts per pitch depending where you park to set up your pitch, from £20/£40/£75, so be careful where you park it could work out that you loose money by the end of the day.

    :hello: Hi Jodes!

Sold more on ebay today and they've paid . . . . . . . . by echque :wall: They're an established buyer & seller too, anyway, yet another thing to count when I get it

Still waiting on payment for another item that ended a few days ago, doh!

Did some more overtime tonight, but that'll be the last in a while since I'm back to normal work, and started a few surveys today but got screened out of them all.

    It's SLOW going

Arrgh! with e-cheque. Its so frustrating. I contcted paypal recently because twice it would only let me use echeque and asked what the problem was (funds in current account where debit card links to) and they said no problems with you, we randomlychoose people to pay by echeque to protect sellers and prevent fraud.

I wanted my item though and had to wait for ages! Its a crap system!

£4.80 today from me. Sig updated :)
  • Well, I bought a car last night, got £800 more for my car than he originally offered and got a set of mats and a tank of fuel thrown in. I drive a very hard bargain! Am now due a refund of £31.05 on my insurance and saved £90 on a years car tax which was due at the end of August anyway.
Need £16 more to meet target, so will be taking new car for first outing at boot fair on Sunday.
