    Bloody hell! BOE base rate just got slashed by 1.5%. That means the HSBC deal is now 3.79% or 4.0% overall for comparison!

    I was very lucky that I remortgaged in Sept. I have just re-calculated my repayments:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :j :j . With the unlimited overpayments allowed it looks as if all of those who signed up with HSBC would be smiling at the moment.

    got my letter today confirming rate cut from 7 November - my new interest rate is 3.79 - really helping me out moneywise.
