Bargain England home shirt 05/07

I posted about this back on October 16th! It's been going for ages now and shows no sign of stopping! It's a great bargain.
It actually says on the shirt "Official England Shirt 2005-07" it will definately be used during the world cup!
For fans of more exotic shirts the bigger Sports Soccer have tones of older European shirts like Juventus, Barcelona, Ajax, At Madrid, France etc also for £11.99 - I could have spent loads in there yesterday.
They also have a load of other stuff like Goalkeeper gloves, golf clubs and other golf stuff at really great prices.0 -
Would not touch this offer with a barge poleGONE ENGLAND0

Littlewoods have the junior away shirt for £10, but you have to do it on some kind of credit payment (no I have not really come across them before). Does anyone know of any extra savings from greasypalm etc. to be had for new littelwoods customers?

Do people recommend them as a retailer? Or am I going to be spammed by them forever if I buy from them!
Is there a better option out there for web ordering?0 -
Thanks for this post WILS. I went into the Cardiff store of Sport and Soccer today and picked up a medium senior shirt for £11.99. They had all sizes in junior and senior.
Now I can wear the shirt and support the boys in Germany next summer!!0 -
Don't be a chav with an England shirt! Instead, they were also selling all kinds of interesting football shirts from around the world, also for £10-£12. I bought a Paris St German away kit, Austria Vienna home kit, Athletico Madrid away kit, and a Russia shirt. Much more interesting, don't you agree?0

Its the away shirts that will new for the World Cup. So if you can get the Home shirt for 11.99 go for it. I think it one of the worst home shirt we have had.0

Sports Soccer pulled a bit of a fast one in Teeside Park (near Middlesborough). They proudly proclaimed a "Closing Down Sale - everything must go" but didn't actually knock much off their prices (which are admittedly already pretty sharp especially for the England kits). The place was packed out with eager punters for 6 weeks solid and then they did indeed close down only to open again straght away a mere 50 yards across the car park as "Sports World". Even the logo is the same. Bit cheeky I thought, but I still buy stuff off them. Sports Soccer must be shifting these shorts for near cost to get you in the shop.
Usually you can't get a name & number printed on the shirts (de rigeu these days for the fashion concious 10 year old) and you have to go with what they have pre-printed. If you have a son who likes Owen and isn't that impressed with Beckham (who is?) then you may have a problem...
There will be a new England Away shirt (red I guess) next year (before the World Cup). You can bet England will play in this qute a lot, certainly in the friendlies that run up to Germany as the FA will want to promote the new shirt to the supporters. This will enable them to generate enough cash to pay off Sven's contract when we lose to the first half decent team we play.
Some one on the thread said England try to play in white as much as possible Which I find an incredibly naieve comment on a clued up web site like this. Football is all about maximising the cash you get from fans. There is no room for sentiment at all.
Having said that, I'll be in Germany next year with my son. I might even upgrade my white '66 shirt.0
