coventry building society i an very annoyed

asked the coventry to release my endowment policy document....they said sorry we dont hold you policy document...paid norwich union £25.00 for a substitute document....wrote to the coventry requesting they send a letter of no further interest to N/U as requested by N/U so that the coventry had no further claim......as soon as i did this the coventry sent direct to me my origanal policy document...which it looks like they held all the time but did not want to release it to me.

asked the N/U for a refund for the £25.00 i sent as i no longer required the substitute policy document...they said " its not our policy to refund".

do i feel ripped off or what.........the coventry or norwich union should not be allowed to get away with things like this.

MOAN OVER

It's not really NU's fault, you asked them for a substitute document and they supplied you with what you asked for. You should be asking Coventry BS for your £25 back.
