We are offering one lucky winner the trip of a lifetime to Venice, and a journey on the famous Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. You will fly to Venice from London and soak up the sights in this beautiful city for 2 days and nights. Then you will be whisked away on the Orient-Express and travel in style through the wonderful scenery of Italy, Austria and Switzerland. All your meals will be provided while on the train, which will continue its journey through France until you cross the channel and arrive at London Victoria station.

1. No purchase necessary to enter the prize draw.
2. This prize draw is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over, with the exception of employees of the Promoter, their families, agents and anyone else connected with this promotion.
3. Entries must be received by 11.59pm on 31st August 2008. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to reach the Promoter by the relevant closing date for any reason. Proof of posting or sending is not proof of receipt. Entries via agents or third parties are invalid. Entries become the property of the Promoter and are not returned.
4. Only one entry per person. No entrant may win more than one prize.
5. To enter simply fill in your details on the online form found at www.penguin.co.uk/orient.
6. All correctly completed entries will be entered into a prize draw which will take place on 1st September 2008. The first entry drawn will be the winner.
7. The prize for the winner is a Venetian Serenade package with the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. Prize is for 2 people and includes economy class flights from London Gatwick or Heathrow to Venice and 2 nights hotel accommodation in Venice. Breakfast included. 1 night on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, with all meals included, arriving at its final destination of London Victoria station. Airport transfers are not included. Travelling dates and times can be chosen by the winner but are subject to availability and entrants should be aware that departures are only possible on the following dates in 2008, September 11, 22, 25, 29, October 13, 16, 27, November 3, 10. Subject to availability.
8. In the event that you cannot make these dates, no alternative dates will be possible and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to a substitute winner. Travel insurance is not included in this prize and the winners are responsible for obtaining all necessary visas or other travel documentation as well as paying any related taxes or fees.
9. One runner up will receive a one day UK rail excursion to a British Pullman destination of their choice Please see www.orient-express.com a list of possible destinations. Transfers to and from the runner up’s home to the starting point of the excursion are not included and neither is travel insurance. A meal will be provided. Departures must take place within 12 months of the runner up being informed that they have won the prize with the exact date to be agreed by the runner up, the Promoter and the trip organiser. Subject to availability.
10. Prizes are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right (a) to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value and (b) in exceptional circumstances to amend or foreclose the promotion without notice. No correspondence will be entered into. There is no cash alternative.
11. The winner will be notified via email or post by 15th September 2008. The winner must claim their prize within 14 working days of the Promoter sending notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these rules.
