Hi,
I want to set up a club, where people with a common interest, can meet once a week. My house is too small. I am looking for a free or cheap venue that has some parking nearby. It will need to be in a room suitable for up to 30 people.
I don't mind what the venue is - church hall, club, skittle alley, room above pub etc.
Does anyone know anywhere in the Bristol area or have any suggestions?
Thanks
Paulina.

It's probably worth approaching local pubs or social clubs which have a function room, TBH they are most likely to offer a 'free' venue on the assumption that everyone will buy at least one drink ...
Unless you have some affiliation with a church I'd be surprised if you could get a room there other than for the going rate, although that will vary.
Might help if you gave some idea of which quarter of Bristol you were based in / looking to base the club in. It can be a bit territorial, and getting from one side to the other is a bit of a hassle at times.Signature removed for peace of mind0
