Post Office International Phonecard free trial

Just picked up a leaflet with a free trial international phonecard form the Post Office. It says 'it won't cost a penny', 'try me for free' etc. There's a list of 15 countries with how many free minutes for each (Aus, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Holland, Poland, Spain, USA are all 60mins). Card expires 60 days from 1st use. You dial a freephone number, enter the card pin, then dial destination number.

I can't find any restriction on calling days/times or on how many cards per person. I assume if you go over your free minutes it will just cut you off as I can't see how you could be charged via a freephone number.

I've posted over on the home phones board to see if anyone knows of any catches but this seems pretty good if, like me, you have a close relative living abroad.

gr8 just what i needed cuz the phone cards these days really rip you off and i phone abroad alot so this can come in very handy indeed thanks

Free international calls!

After a lot of wavering I used the card on Sunday and yes, it is really free! I called Spain for 18 minutes at no charge at all. I'll be picking up a few more of these from the Post Office.
