help needed please re-business account

We were discharged from BR 2 months ago and we are trying to open up a business account so we can start a limited business with my husband doing engineering consultancy.

We have a current account with co op that we have had since we were made BR and have today been declined a business account with them.

Would really appreciate any advice please as you guys have been amazing in the past!

I will be honest and say i think you will be lucky as although you are now discharged your BR will be on your credit file for at least another 5 years so this may be why the banks shy away. My advice would be have a word with you accountant as they might know a better way round it.

The most important aspect of a business account is that it is separate from your personal account. Until your credit files are squeaky clean, would it be possible to open another cashminder account and use that for business purposes?
