Wondered if people would share the names/websites of their favourite charity Christmassy shops? I need to do most online this year and it's always nice to find a new source.

i bought quite a bit from http://www.traidcraftshop.co.uk
Nice, good quality stuff. I bought a mystery parcel last year, and it was full of goodies. Don't know if they'll do them again this year:rudolf:0 -
I usually buy one or two things from https://www.scottishspca.org - they don't have a huge selection yet but I like to help as they usually lose out to the RSPCA0

I like the Oxfam Unwrapped website. Don't actually "sell" anything, but you can give someone a giftcard saying you've paid for 100 school dinners (£6), or a goat (£24) or a toilet (£30) for a village in a developing country."Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0

I recently got a catalogue from https://www.the-owl-barn.com they have some lovely presents and gifts, especially if you are an animal lover.0

www.sendacow.org
lots of farm equipment and even animals that can be bought on behalf of someone and given to needy people in under-developed countries.0 -
Send a cow is great - Rachel's Dairy is helping out: go to their website and enter the barcode from a milk carton, for every 1000 (I think) they are sending a cow. Love the Traidcraft and Oxfam ideas for donating something useful to people - guess I won't need to go to Somerfield to stock up on Quality Street now. Thanks for the ideas.GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000

Studio isn't a charity shop is it? There are a few postings on the forums regarding this company. I am one person whose had very bad customer service from them. But I really don't think they've got anything to do with a charity!

No, I don't think they are a charity, but it's nice to get ideas for different mail order of all kinds for this time of year. ( even, as in your case, the not so good ones!)Maureen0
