Options
Hi, some of you MONEY SAVERS may appreciate this, others may not!

here i go anyway!

Avatars are small graphics that are displayed under your username whenever you post.

If you fancy have a picture, or moving graphic to spice up your posts, there is a site that you can download them for free!

Avatars

theres loads of pictures that you can use, so have a good look!

you can adjust the size of the avatrs on the site, so that they meet the requirements of MSE and save it to your computer.

You can then change the avatar on MSE by clicking on User CP at the top of the forum page and follow the instructions.

As I said, not of interest to everyone, but i like little things like this, im sure others will do so too!!! :T

I have tried getting an avatar loads of times, and how ever much I reduce it it still says " too large " I chose an image of the site suggested reduced it to 80 by 80 on the site( as specified by mse) and still it says the same, what do I do wrong ?

hi, i did exactly the same!

when you choose from the different sizes that you can change the avatar to, a smaller (resized) graphic appears slightly lower down the screen. this is the graphic that you need to save to your computer. if resizing to 80 x 80 doesnt work, it might be necessary to go one size smaller, 64 x 64!

hope this helps! if not reply and ill try again! :T

There are also a massive number of avatars to be found here. They're called Display Pictures, and are supposedly for MSN Messenger, but they will work with practically anything.
