Hi all,
Rec'd a letter today from the above solicitors based in Brighton regarding our CC Debt with Lloyds (for 5k) it says that its a formal demand for the money before they instigate legal proceedings.
It also says that Lloyds may accept a reduced sum and realistic proposals for monthly repayments plus the usual blurb about all this being recorded at the credit reference agency.
We started our DMP in May and they have had budget sheets from CCCS and we have paid them for 3 months now. I understand that they issue a default but why this and whats likely to happen now ? We have already a payment arrangement, it also says the card has been cancelled, err hello we cut it up and sent it back to you by registered post in April!
Should we write back to them and tell them about the DMP, I find it odd that they dont know seeing as we have been paying for 3 months already.
Are these an in house solicitor for Lloyds anyone have any dealings with them and know how they operate ??
Thanks

They're an in-house solicitor. LTSB have a long and complex process before they settle down on a dmp, but I wasn't aware that SC&M were part of that process.
Perhaps ask CCCS (if they're the ones managing your dmp.)0
