Hand blender

Carmen

Hello again, I am looking to buy a new hand blender. I see Amazon have a Braun MR5550 MHCBC model for under £45. The reviews look good buttt, before I take the plunge, do any of you good ppl have any experience of it and is that a good price?
Many thanks

Ouch, for that price I'd rather do without the whisk and get the Tesco £4.87 Value one

I can recommend that, I bought one and it did just that, it blended my hand a treat.

So the Tesco one does the job Moggins?

If you just want a basic stick blender then you can't do any better than the Tesco value one. If you do want all the gubbins that comes with it then maybe not.

However I've got the blender/spice grinder from Asda which cost £12. The electric whisk with dough hooks from Asda which cost just over a fiver and the stick blender from Tesco. These do all the jobs that £45 one does and probably more and still comes in at a lot less than £45.

Carmen

Thanks Moggins, will have a look, when I'm there next.

Pink.

Moggins,

You're a star! My old stick blender has just died, so on your recommendation I'm going to get the Tesco value one.
