Rice bowl in Steamer????

I just got a steamer from freecycle :j It came with a white plastic bowl which I understand to be a rice bowl, does anyone know how I use this to cook rice??? Thanks.x.

Hiya,
I'm sure there's another thread elsewhere on OS, but essentially, you put your washed (or not) rice in the bowl, add water to cover, put the bowl in the steamer rack, and set the steamer away for 12 mins. Then drain the rice and serve.
Dead easy.

What type of steamer is it ? I've got a tefal and it takes ages to steam the rice but worth it for the resultsSo little money - so much time :mad:0
