Dont live in that area, but whats wrong with it?
If its the brushes you could just change them yourself for less than £20 or a seal for about £15 etc.. they aren't complicated devices.0 -

The only one I know is Multifix but they're in Portadown although they might have other closer places or be able to recommend someone in your area

There is a chap in Bangor called 'Jim'll Fix it' .. I don;t have his number but he did a good job for us and was not too hard to pay

Sounds like the shocks have gone on it, its like replacing the oil-filled piston that hold your boot open (1 nut+bolt at each end). There is also a spring that stops the drum from coming forward which can just be removed, shortened with some wire snips and plairs and replaced.
I suggest you [DICONNECT THE MAINS] take the back of it at least and see if you can see anything obvious like that and how accessable the parts are. If its looks straight forward enough then go to your nearest repair shop and get the parts. If you ask the guys that work there whats it like replacing these things they will ususually give you some good advise.
Worst case senario you cant fit them and you have to get a pro in do it, but you would need the parts anyhow so no money lost.0 -
Thanks to everyone:T .
I had a guy out he said it was better to buy a new one,to get the old one fixed would have been the same price,so happy days no more hand washing:D .thanks again.0
