Most treat you like that anyway , and many DO NOT have a enforceable CCA .Broken_hearted wrote: »Most come back with it and treat you like crap in the meantime,0 -
Thanks again - the way I see it, I have nothing to loose - I am NEVER using credit and getting into debt again, just want to get rid of what I do have asap and move on with my life!Amount saved by cutting down on  since 24/08/2009....... :j£81.78:j0

Then pay it off and move on. I get very little hassle from DCA by being honest and not messing them around. Stapeley feels everyone should run up debts and not pay them back because they can. In the end it just hurts those who do pay but who cares about them when you can get a freebie.Barclaycard 3800

Well - there was me thinking this was a "non-judgemental" forum - using words like "freebie" does not help anyone - perhaps saying nothing at all is better for you BH as you clearly have nothing constructive to add.Broken_hearted wrote: »Then pay it off and move on. People get into debt for all kinds of reasons - very few start out with the intention of not paying it back (I am certainly not one of them) but in the days of "easy credit" where lenders were falling over themselves to lend money, some of us got ourselves into positions we wish we never had done and are now trying to do something to sort it out.
Don't forget BH, many of these DCAs buy these debts at huge discounts from lenders and collecting the full amount gives them huge profits. If they wish to make such huge profits, they should do so within the confines of the law.
I wish you every luck with your journey to debt freedom - just try not to be quite so sanctimonious and judgemental of others while you're on you way, there's a good chap!Amount saved by cutting down on  since 24/08/2009....... :j£81.78:j0 -
