pay mortgage with cc

Hi,

Is it possible to make a lump sum payment for a mortgage with a 10 month interest free credit card?

    some lenders might ( mine wont !)
    check with your lender and make sure its not treated as a cash withdrawal !
    or the CC company will hit you with all sorts of charges and fees.

    credit account1 to credit account2 cash flow is not generally permitted or blocked by financial institutions while offering their products.
    So most likely, your request to pay mortgage is going to be rejected.
    If you have a balance transfer option - that would obviously work.

    I know - I just wish I was as clever as u.

    I did not actually want to make a big deal over it, and wondered if others had shared experiences. Maybe I was wrong, and that this is what the forum is for - learning from others experiences. In future I will ring Tesco or Boots and ask them "Is it correct that you have incorrectly priced those washing machines? " :rolleyes:
