does the boots advantage card record details of all your purchases?

Just wondering as OH did a major brain-wrong in Boots and we want a refund, but have no reciept.
Will they be able to trace the purchase on my advantage card?

Did you purchase on a debit or credit card.
Do you have a statement showing the amount.
I have found that stores will accept a credit card statement, especially if you just bought one item and the amount matches.0 -

If you have no receipt, I know that Boots will give you a refund on a gift card if you have a valid reason to return the item0

Well. I should have explained better. I got the 'parenting club' voucher for the free huggies starter kit, and sent Oh to get it on his way home from work. Looking over his statement I noticed he had spent loads in boots, which never happens and figured out he hadn't handed the voucher over so we paid £24.99 for the kit.
I still have the voucher and am hoping they will refund the value to his card as I don't want to pay £24.99 for a cheap changing bag and packet of baby wipes!

I don't know about that, but in response to edda, they no longer put the refund on a gift card if you have no receipt. They insist on an exchange then and there.

In this case I got a sympatheic customer service advisor and she said they will credit my advantage card with 2499 points.
Hoorah!
A refund would have been better, but i'm sure I can use the points on nappies and things, and I am surprised we got anything to be honest.

Sorry - I didn't mean to mislead anyone. This only happened to me on Saturday, but it was an item that was unsuitable so a refund would have been no good.
Perhaps I got an assistant that was sympathetic to my plight.0 -

i used to work for Boots and yes it everything you buy gets recorded on the Ad. card system, although there are fairly tight regs. on who they can then release that to. I had a couple of occassions of people bringing dodgey stuff back that we were able to show that they HADNT bought it from us via the Ad.Card system.
